Nessun Dorma

I signed up for the morning pesto class and wow, this was such an incredible time. The class comes with the delicious pesto you make, an apron to take home, a bottle of wine and food to pair with your pesto once it’s made. I never take cooking classes while traveling but something told me I should try this and I’m so glad I did. It would be a shame if the city does not allow them to renew their contract next year.

We attended the last 5 pm pesto cooking class of the season. We had a blast! So educational, entertaining with music & dancing along with a spectacular view. The pesto & charcuterie were excellent. Plenty of wine provided with one to take home along with an apron. Great value for your money. Best activity in Cinque Terre.

I recently attended the Pesto Class & it far exceeded my expectations. It was educational & so much fun with singing & dancing & the views were absolutely stunning. The food, wine, service & atmosphere were amazing. This was one of the highlights of my trip to Italy. A must do if you’re in Cinque Terre

We visited about two months ago and I’m just getting around to writing the review. Nessun Dorma is one of those places that hits you the second you walk in. The view alone is insane — straight-up postcard-level Manarola cliffs and pastel houses glowing in the sun. And then there’s the owner, whose energy could power half of Cinque Terre. He literally won this failing spot in a contest and turned it into a full-on experience. Locals may not love that he’s a southerner who made it big, but honestly? He’s built something incredible. The pesto class is a highlight. You learn exactly where every ingredient comes from, and you realize how tiny an amount of that super-strong garlic you actually need. And smashing basil by hand in a mortar and pestle? Way better than a blender — you can taste the difference. After class, you’re absolutely not leaving hungry. They load you up with wine and a charcuterie board that’s basically a meal. And yes — at some point, you will dance. It’s just that kind of place. And the sign you pass on the way in? “Today is a good day to be happy.” At Nessun Dorma, it really is.

The pesto cooking class was great! Very informative, authentic, and fun. Also, felt like it was worth the price with all the ingredients, food, wine, and goodies we left with. The view was also amazing of course. We also reserved the class the night before and that was easy to do. Hope they get to continue the business!

We ended up booking the early pesto experience the morning of and there was still two spots available! After enjoying everything they had to offer, we are sooo glad we did it!! Simone was an amazing host, he shared stories, a complete background of how to make the best pesto, even what to look for when buying pesto at the store! The class was fun and energetic, and I would recommend it to anyone in the area! To top it off, we were given a beautiful meat and cheese board with bread to taste our own homemade pesto (it was delicious), and got to enjoy an exclusive view of Manarola, which I thought was one of the best in the town!! We hope Simone gets to keep this location and doing these experiences forever!!

An absolutely wonderful experience making Pesto at Nessun Dorma! Simon, the owner and one who lead the class was full of energy and passionate about what he does. Everyone in the class was singing and dancing as they were making t their pesto. The wine and cocktails are incredible as well and from the class we had the most beautiful view of Manarola. This class is a MUST if you are in the CT area.
